Take Care of Forest
As we take care of humans, we want to take care of the forest, and its wild.
The pieces of wood we use come from selected trees, we hate clearcuts.
We have some timberman friends who offer this job. We have also some hectares of trees, many are douglas, but we replace them with Oak trees, chesnut trees and many indigenous species.
In The Right Place
Our selected trees will never travel more than 100 km.
We live here, we eat here, we work here and the wood origin is here too.
At The Right Time
All the trees are cut in the right time, when the sap is down into the roots.
The drying is better. The dying roots feed the soil. The wild is less annoyed.
For the next generation
We planted, we plant, we will plant. Since the begining of humanity, people used to fix a relationship with mother nature.
We take from her, we need to give her back.
For all the trees we cut, we plant two or three new ones at the same place, to recreate an indigenous and (almost) natural forest.
A Better Way
Our Timberman friend and partner use to work with a horse driver to take out the logs,
caring the soil and the other standing trees.
For Us And For You
We offer two type of renovation : Conventional and Traditional
We can install plasterboards and glasswool.
But we prefer using natural materials, like hemp and lime, wood fiber, stones and timber.
This traditional renovation is healthier for you and your family, and for us too.
